What is BodyTite and THERMItight?

Both BodyTite and THERMItight are radiofrequency-focused procedures. BodyTite is a minimally invasive body contouring procedure that uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to melt fat and tighten the skin at the same time. THERMItight tightens moderately loose skin by delivering controlled radiofrequency waves to directly heat the subdermal skin.

BodyTite can treat the abdomen, bra roll, male breasts, love handles, thighs, arms, and knees.

THERMItight can treat the neck, face, breasts, arms, abdomen, thighs, and knees.

How BodyTite works

BodyTite combines two successful technologies into a double-duty procedure that reduces fat while simultaneously tightening the skin. Utilizing radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis, this minimally invasive body contouring procedure provides amazing results that would normally require more extensive surgeries. Traditional liposuction removes excess fat from the body, but in some cases, it can leave behind loose skin. BodyTite reduces fat without leaving behind wrinkled or saggy skin — thanks to the use of radiofrequency. Targeted energy works to heat deeper skin layers, stimulating collagen and elastin production as well as improving skin tone and texture. This technology allows patients to experience more efficient internal and external results with little downtime.

THERMItight works by emitting radiofrequency waves into the inner layer of skin in the areas that need skin tightening. Once the THERMItight probe is in place, the radiofrequency energy is sent into your tissues, causing them to shrink. THERMItight also stimulates natural collagen and elastin production in the treated areas, which helps the skin and tissues to look more firm and youthful. This is a very accurate and precise treatment.

BodyTite and THERMItight treatment details

BodyTite treatments generally last about half an hour, and they are done under local anesthesia. After the area is numbed, small incisions will be made for the BodyTite probe to enter and emit radiofrequency heat energy. The heat levels can be very easily monitored during treatment. Not only does this keep patients safe; it also ensures the areas are treated for the right amount of time. After the probe’s work under the skin is complete, the device will be passed over the skin externally to trigger collagen and elastin production.

THERMItight works very similarly to BodyTite, but the probe is not passed over the skin externally. Before treatment, the area will be injected with anesthetic. A controlled amount of thermal energy will then be applied to the tissue with a tiny probe that will be inserted just below the skin’s surface with a needle. The probe is used to gently heat targeted tissues to a pre-determined temperature, simultaneously tightening and smoothing the skin.

BodyTite recovery and results

Depending on the location you have treated, you may be given a compression garment to wear for a few days. You will most likely be able to resume normal activities within 3 to 5 days, and exercise at three weeks. Early results from your BodyTite procedure will become apparent at about two weeks, when the bruising and swelling have subsided. Final results from BodyTite will be visible in 3 to 6 months, and the collagen production will continue to improve for about a year.

THERMItight recovery and results

After having your THERMItight treatment, you may notice some minor redness and swelling in your treated areas. This will typically dissipate within 24 hours, and you can return to your normal routine within that time. Your results from the THERMItight treatment will be immediately noticeable, and will get better over time as more collagen and elastin are produced in the area. THERMItight results can last for several years.
