How Does Bellafill Work?

The Bellafill dermal filler is FDA-approved to get rid of or reduce the appearance of your nasolabial fold—“smile lines”. Bellafill recreates the firm support provided by younger skin through stimulating the natural production of more collagen. This injectable can also be used to treat atrophic acne scars along your cheeks.

Bellafill gives instantaneous results by injecting collagen to add volume and lift the skin to smoothe facial wrinkles. This injectable contains 0.3% of Lidocaine in order to offer a comfortable treatment. Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres are also contained within Bellafill. These microspheres thicken to help your skin rebuild a firm structure. Bellafill gives long-lasting results as the PMMA creates a stronger base to further support the production of collagen.

Your Bellafill treatment begins with a skin assessment and skin test to ensure your eligibility and prevent any potential adverse reactions to Lidocaine or collagen.
