The JUVA Skin & Laser Center is more than a cosmetic practice. We are an active dermatology, cosmetic and laser surgery research center. We are proud that all the treatments we utilize are backed up by solid supporting clinical science, and we hope to ensure that as new treatments are developed, they also receive the same tough standards of evidence. Under the guidance of the JUVA Foundation our research center performs studies to improve the safety and efficacy of cosmetic and laser surgery to create less invasive techniques with fewer adverse effects.
The JUVA Foundation Research Center has been performing clinical studies for more than 20 years, and has participated in more than 70 studies. We have already been involved in numerous advances in dermatology, including SmartLipo and Cellulaze cellulite treatment, and we continue to work in many of the most challenging and rewarding avenues of dermatology, cosmetic and laser surgery research. Our studies have been at all phases of the clinical trial process, from phase I trials to post marketing studies of already-approved technologies. Our doctors are published in major medical journals, and much of their ground-breaking research was performed here.
